  • I have had this same problem on a form that i was using custom buttons for. And through days of research found out that pressing the "enter key" will bypass your validation.

You can run a javascript that will disable the enter key. Do a google search for more if this link doesn't help.

    enter key

    I hope this helps.

I got it all figured out. It just took moving on to another page and coming back.

Here is what i did though I ran the defaultaddressR S to get the address info then:

    Code:
    If defaultaddressRS.EOF Then
    defaultaddressRS.close
    set insertdefaultaddressRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.RecordSet")
insertdefaultaddressQuery = "Select top 1 id from customer_addresses_shipping where

  • Does the hosting company offer ASPjpeg? If not ask is you could purchase it and they load it. This is the best serverside image resizing component i have seen. It supports multiple image formats and pretty inexpensive.

You could also (depending on the hosting service) have the client Zip the files and then unzip on the server, bypassing the file size limit, if permissions are correctly set.

    Set Default Shipping Address

    Hello All!

I have a shipping profile page that i created and works perfectly. User can create multiple shipping addresses that post to an access DB and they can then edit them (1 at a time). I have all the appropriate java validators in place for the submit (that took about 300 lines of code :) ). I have it to where the user can only have one default address as well.

The question that i have relates to auto entering...

    Blocking IP addresses

I currently have an IP address checking system in place to block IP's that abuse my querystrings. Most of these are from outside the US.

    My question is:

How can I block everyone but US IP addresses? I don't know if i can use somthing like this "215.*.*.*" or "215*"' and it work.

    Thanks
    Jason

replied to To make multiple pages in the same page
    in PHP
I don't know if this will help, but i just did the same thing for a customer/user update page that has a lot of forms to be filled out in ASP.

    I used 2 pages-- header.asp and usreinfo.asp

In the header i used tabs to go to and fro each page, but you prbly don't need that so just look at the exanple below

To make the explanation simple: use the query sting to move between the pages

    www.whatever.co m?page="1"...

  • Thanks for the reply Jared.

About the query, i was letting Access build it and you know how it loves to change the query to be like that with all the "{{[((" and stuff.....

It does display the query correctly. What i want to show (if possible to do in the query) is:

    1) pull the data
    2) If "youth" and "adult" show up for the same "color" then display in red...

I am using the following query to get the data:
    Code:
