DBA in Linux and Windows
I am undergoing the course of DBA in Linux. So the concept of DBA in Linux is similar to DBA in Windows or not??? Or it is totally different??? -
I have installed Oracle 10g Release 2 in xp. So my question is by default tnsname.ora and listener.ora will be created or not??? If it is created it should be in Oracle/network/admin folder. But i am not getting tnsname.ora and listener.ora in these file. Ya i am getting these file in
Oracle/network/admin/sample folder.
So whenever i am opening Net configuration foldr it is asking for Select the directory where network... -
im using 8.0 version crystal report but instead of going crystal report tool

hai all,
pls help me out.
I have added checkboxes to datagrid dynamically which contains 3 columns(name,ty pe,checkbox(dyn amic)). When i have selected the checkbox the First Column name has to be added to the crystal report header dynamically.

hai everybody,
Pls let me out of this problem.
we r planning to develop a retial application using java i.e., meant for Retail SuperMarket Billing and Inventory processing etc. But we r in dilema that which concept(java swings/ejb/struts) is suitable for better performance and flexibility.
I want clear information regarding this.

Connectivity
Hi i have installed Oracle 10g release 2 in my system as a Database Server.
And i have installed Oracle 10g lite express edition(XE) in other system which are in Lan.
Now from remote i.e. from client i want to access the Database of Oracle 10g which is a server.
so what connection i have to do????
