Hi,
I am attempting to query a table and I am not exactly sure how to accomplish this. In my table I have three columns: ID, source, target.
[ID] [source] [target]
1 pa ny
2 pa ca
3 pa pa
4 la pa
5 la ca

Advanced Query Help (DISTINCT)

Thanks for your help Linq; however after trying to create a report in Design View, I am having the same problem... The records are being cut-off exactly where they were in Report Wizard!
I tried duplicating the table and deleting the last 100 or so records, no matter what, the report will always be short of the actual number of records in the table.
Does anyone have any input on this?

Also, I tried to create a duplicate table and deleted the records surround where teh problem exists. Same thing, the reports are still getting cut off. What would do this?Leave a comment:

Also, since the reports seem to cut off at a specific record, I tried to create a query-based report that contained the section of the data that is being cut-off, which works fine...Leave a comment:

Yep, it's a simple printout of records in the table. Nothing unusual jumps out at me. Any clues?...Leave a comment:

- Is your report based on a table or a query?
The report is tabled-based. Additionally, when I tried to make the report query-based, the query shows all the records, but the query-based table is also cut-off similar to the table-based report at the exact same record.
- If based on a query, does it run properly, displaying all records and data, when run independently?
See above.

Reports Cut Off
Hi,
I am new to Access and I am working on a database table containing 1072 records. I am trying to create a report using the Design Wizard to create a report from the table containing all the fields/records. However, when the report is created it is incomplete. It ends on page 591. Is there a maximum number of fields supported by a report? What could be happening? THANKS!

HOWTO: Import data from XLS into Access Table containg AutoNumbers
Hi,
I am attempting to append data to an existing table in a database. What I did was create a report containing all the fields, then used analyze in Excel. I used these field headings to create another XLS file with the new data I would like to append. The database that I am attempting to append contains an autonumber field, which is the table's primary key. In my error log the message reads:

Key Stroke for Date/Timestamp
Hi,
I am working on an existing form developed in Access97 that inserts a timestamp into any of the form's textbox and memo fields when a user does "Ctrl" + "D". I looked through the form's code and their is no call for the Now() function. How is this being done?

Thanks! That makes perfect sense; I'm on my way now. - Tony...Leave a comment:

Thanks. Under Form properties, the value for Record Source refers to a table in my database. Ideally, I would like the Record Source to contain values for two tables. Is this possible?
currently, Record Source - >Table1
desired, Record Souce -> Table1, Table2...Leave a comment:

Add a Table/Query to fieldlist on an existing Form
Hi,
I have a highly customized form that uses the field items from a single database. Is there a way to add additional tables/queries to this form, so that their field items display in the fieldlist?
