Yes I have a couple wireless routers connected to the network.
I messed around with it and got it to work yesterday. I manually set the IP address and DNS server for both computers and that did the trick.
I'm guessing that it had they had same IP address somehow???

PIng but no internet
I have a problem with 2 computers on my network. This happened when we move them to a different location inside the building
when i change the config. of the network cables computer a and b does not connect to the network drive or the internet. But I can still ping in/outside the network.
if I leave the cables as they are then computer b is the only one that can not connect to the network drive or internet.

Email
I have exchange 2007 running for 6 months now. I have about 15-20 users. The problem is for a couple users. When sending email it takes a long time for the recipients to get the email. No changes have been made on their computers but the problem seems to have just emerge. Any ideas what the problem could be. -
Ok I used partition magic, and it worked, but the problem I have now is that it is still trying to finish the process by rebooting. So everytime it gets to windows it reboots.

How to change drive to primary or logical
I have a hard drive that has 2 partitions. C: is logical and G: is primary. I want to make C: the primary. C: currently has the OS installed it. If I delete G: the computer will not boot up.
Is there a way to change a hard drive from logical to primary through windows? or should i use a 3rd party program. -

Is there anyway to get a program to run in windows automatically at a given time in the regedit or do I need to find a program that will do this. -
I got it....simple mistake. When I installed the FTP it had an error to begin with, the username were the same for the FTP and website so password also pointed to the website, thus giving me a 401.2 error. Changing the username for the FTP solved the problem.Leave a comment:

I changed the annomyous user settings and is coming up with the same error. I was wondering if by Installing the FTP components could it have changed any of the IP address in the DNS or any setting in the IIS manager. Everything seems to be the same as it did before but I really didn't pay attention to what all the numbers were before.Leave a comment:

IIS Website stopped work after installing FTP
Hi, I tried to setup an FTP site in control panel under add/remove components. After doing so the website stopped working. A pop up window with a username password shows up. Which never happend before. I went back to the IIS but everything seems to be the same.....any suggestions on getting the website working to it orginal state again.
