I am trying to install MySQL 5.0 on Red Hat 9.0 with no success. I have downloaded the server and client i386 rpm files from MySQL. When I run the command rpm -i MySQL-server-5.0.45-0.glibc23.i386. rpm errors are returned indicating that there are dependency problems. The error messages returned:
