can anyone tell me what are the steps that create a dsn using iseries client access ODBC driver by giving rights to both read and write .

Error comes when insert records
hi,
Im using vb.net programme with db2. when I insert a record the following error comes even update the record. But I can retrieve the data with out any problem. But the particular query can directly run in as/400 without any error. Im using i series client access ODBC driver to connect the database.
ERROR [HY000] [IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver][DB2 UDB]SQL7008 - INP35 in OSLD1F3 not valid for operation.

hi,
im developing a vb.net project with db2. I used ODBC client access driver to create the connection. I can retrieve date by using this dsn but i cant insert or update data to the database. Because it gives the following error.
ERROR [HY000] [IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver][DB2 UDB]SQL7008 - INP35 in OSLD1F3 not valid for operation.
Can any one give me a solution to this
