    This problem has been baffling me for a long, long time. Really. It just doesnt make sense.

    Hey

    I am aware that if one builds their site in flash, there is serach engine optimisation incompatibiliti es. The search engine has a difficult time attempting to find a flash site, and the chances of it ranking highly are quite slim.

    How do you recommend solving this problem?

    I was having a little think to myself the other day.

    Could I place javascript inside a div, and then manipulate/ or position the div usin css? Or is it best to position via javascript?

    I tried it, and surprisingly it works. But there was this eery feeling that this is the wrong way to go about it.

    Its just that i am not an expert with javascrip, and am worried that this may cause browser incompatibility...

    new to javascript

    figuring out how to fix this darn problem. I employ an image rollover, and it works beautifully in safari. But in firefox, the image has an annoying blue border around it, which i didnt specify. Further to that, when I click it, it should lead straight into another site/window. But when i click it, another totally irrelevant image pops up. Its only when i click it again that it the link takes me...
