    No . I resetted the username and password , I even tried by reinstalling the network card drivers in both systems , But it is not working. Somebody help me.

      Hi

      Till yesterday all was well , today suddenly when i am trying to access xp machine from vista , it is giving the error " Logon unsuccessful , username and password is not correct " After resetting the username and password of the xp machine , still same error is comming.

        Hi...

        I am looking after a lan . I am i am not able to access one particular system , by another one particular system. But from these computers i can access all other systems in my lan and vice- versa.only the communication between these two computers is affected.

        Error is " A duplicate name exists on the network "

          Thanks for the reply.

          I tried the way you suggested. Still the problem is not solved. I also tried by stopping the messenger service , that also not worked.

              I am looking after a lan environment (workgroup). we are using shared internet connection and a printer , which is directly connected to switch. We are using a pop3 and smtp mails supported by a third party. My manager wants me to block internet facility for some users in the lan. I tried to apply ip security policy in individual computers.But i am confused in applying filters for my mail servers and printer. we are using windows xp. Can anybody...

                  Block alert messages

                  We are using a shared printer and a network printer,The problem is whenever a user gives a print to any printer , all other users are getting the message ' This document was sent to the printer' . I want to block this display. We are using Lan (workgroup).
