Do a static declaration like so:
Private m_CustomColors( ) As Integer = {&H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0, &HFFFFFF, &H0}
I used this to initialize a ColorPicker dialog's custom colors to display an alternating black and white pattern.
This provides a 16 element array....

if you have set the DataGrid.DataSo urce to a DataTable then
