Disable how Access automatically saves forms into table...
Hello,
I am currently using Access 2007 on an XP laptop. I have a table and a form used to add records to the table.
I have noticed that if I close the form without filling out all of the information in the form, the form data is still written to the table as a record. Since the person using this form may have to unexpectedly close the form, how can I disable this functionality? I do not want incomplete records being... -
Oddly enough, if I open the file on a different machine, I do not have this problem. I checked the options and the database is not being compacted upon close.
In addition, the temporary file you mentioned in 2007 has an extension *.laccdb.

In consulting, when a document/program is going through pre-relase or pre-sign-off updates, the version numbers are typically less than 1. For example, the initial document creation would be:
- "your application v0.1.accdb"
Whenever you change it, you increment it, for example:
- "your application v0.2.accdb"

- sales1.accdb
If I open sales.accdb again, and immediately close it, I will have in my folder:
