      I'm going to delete the large table in the DB run a compact. if the MDE then works hoepfully I can put the large table back in and the MDE will work. I've never used MDE's before.
      If any experts, cause I'm certaining no expert, can suggest something better please help :)

        yes 400 mb. But access can handle 2 gigs before there's any trouble. Do you have any suggestions for me :)

          I'm trying to create an MDE and it's been creating now for over 1 hour. How long does it normally run. I compacted, removed loose modules, forms & quires. and compiled my code The size is 400,000 kb.

            I have have 2 tables I query, when I create the query either in sql format or design view. then run it shows the data I want. Then if I try to save the database closes with no error msg.

              got it. The cell range I have to A1000 had to be formated for some reason for it to parse the data

                ADO Import csv file to excel, Variable not set error

                The file run through and grabs my csf files but then stops when it get's to my left file. For some reason the Tempcell object variable get's lost and becomes nothing. When I step through the code I see that it hops backwarss back to close #1 then make TempCell = nothing
