anyone here know how to get the file size of a webpage? -
i just solved my problem yesterday it is only the port im using on my vb is not coincide with port i set to be forwarding..by the way tnx -
how to setup a remote mysql database
i have a vb front end application and im using mysql as my database. i would like my vb application to connect in database through internet. so i setup my other computer ( windows 2000 ) as a server, i installed a webserver, enabled http, but when i try connect my application an error occured. which maybe mysql has not been setup correctly. i would just ask if anybody here knows how to setup a remote mysql database so my vb can connect to it. -
print file directly
i know using shellexecute will do.
but how about i create a file "print.file ". when i used shellexecute it doesnt print directly..can anyone help me on this..how can i print a file with an extension of .file

wat i mean is when i use filesystemobjec t to write a text in a text file. after that i want to print it directly rather than reading it and print.

winsock
im just wondering if i have a client/server application which winsock is involved. does that affect on my connections? what i mean is when winsock is listening to an incoming remote host to connect with the server does it slow the connections? or do connection became slower? -

hola everyone,
how can i save a file path into mysql database without removing the '\'
im using XAMPP for my database or phpmyadmin then when i try to insert a file path (ex. D:wallpaper\me. jpg) it removes the backslash and now it became
D:wallpaperme.j pg ..when i try load it an error occur "file not found" because the backslash was remove!
..help! -
