    I compressed and deleted lots of emails.
    It will let me send emails, but not receive.

    Is there anything else to try? Not sure I know how to remove just outlook and then put it back on

    Microsoft Outlook locking up

    I have used Microsoft Outlook for 2 years with no problems. However, in the last few weeks it keeps locking up. I can send messages, but whenever I hit the send/receive button, the hourglass comes on and it just sits there. It locks up the whole computer and I have to turn it off. (I do delete cookies, temp files, and do defrag on a regular basis.) I keep the deleted folder emptied, but I do have alot of emails stored in Outlook.

    OK - makes sense.
    Would the parent/child thing be that My Documents is the parent and My Pictures is the child??? I've never heard this terminology.'

    This is just for a basic college test so he can take an on-line course at the college. I don't think it is technical, just that they can get around on the computer....

    Info needed to take computer test

    My son needs to take a computer test to take an on-line class. He knows what most everything is except for the following. I have no idea about this myself unless they are just using terms I am not familiar with. I may know how to do it, just don't know the terms. Can someone help?
