My problem is this, I am trying to get my report which works fine, to open at a user specified place in the total amount of records.
So in other words, when the user clicks the button to run the report on the Front End Form, they should be prompted with a box to enter some information, be it record number, or the unique reference each record has, and then they should be taken directly to that record, rather than...

Firstly thank you for the response to my question.
However I think maybe I mislead you into thinking i was more adept at report writing or Access than I actually am.
From what you wrote, I understood that I needed to enter this into VB (under "view code" function in Access).
I did this, and it brought several errors.
