I've installed (from the zip file) tomcat 6.0.14 on my pc, but I can't get my webapp to run. It is a very simple HTML form and java servlet and it is on the webapps directory of tomcat, but it won't run. it won't even call up the tomcat home page with "localhost:8080 ' , but it does say "It Works!" though. I read that turning off user control and restarting might help, but I don't trust it.
Any ideas?

Code:<div id="popup" style="left:800px; top:50px; width:150px; height:70px;"></div> <div id="restext"></div> <br /> <div id="serverResponse" style="margin-left:100;margin-top:150;color:#FFFFFF;font-family:arial"></div> -
Hi,
If you look at line 29, "alert(x)" works, but innerHTML doesn't. I was thinking maybe for some reason the popup window is covered or off the screen.Leave a comment:

Firefox and CSS popup problem
I've got an image, when I mouse over it a popup window shows and the person's hobbies are displayed using a CSS popup window. It works in IE, but not Firefox. Any idea why? (lines 23-31)
...Code:<img name=showHobbies src="" style="position:absolute;left:550;top:25;width:100;height:50" onmouseover="show(fullfile)" onmouseout="hide()"> function show(dataSource) -
I disabled 1 popup blocker, where would the others be?
I tried adding px to that code, but i don't really want to control it because it warps the size of the pictures. I might as well just delete the numbers in that tag.
The code is within script tags, (except for the HTML of course).Leave a comment:

It shows a blank screen and "done" in the status bar. nothing on the screen at all. I have MySQL Administrator on and it says that MySQL server is running. I also print out the phpinfo page and there is nothing with MySQL on there either....Leave a comment:

connecting to MYSQL using PHP and Apache
I trying to configure PHP to run MYSQL and it isn't working. I've spend many hours trying to figure this out. I've made changes to the php.ini file and the httpd.conf file and it no longer gives me an error, but it still doesn't connect to the database. It gets to right before the mysql_connect statement where it says "about to connect", and then instead of the error message, I get nothing. It just sits there.

Highlighting element at mouse position - doesn't work in Firefox
i created some javascript DHTML that highlights which menu selection the mouse is currently at, but it won't work on Firefox. Any idea? The source is old, so probably things have changed.
...Code:<script language=JavaScript> function showMenu(menuToShow) { var srcElement = event.srcElement; var xPos = parseInt(srcElement.offsetLeft); var yPos = parseInt(srcElement.offsetTop);
No activity results to display
