I read the link, and now I am more confused. The page indicated that this is a Read Only property, which indicates it cannot change.

What would be the best method to create a shadow affect with the style's opacity set?

Do I just need to append the two DIV elements separately, which I am now trying and getting no where fast....

Thank you for looking at my post.
I have created a popup that simulates a window. I have 3 div tags that I create, first div is a title, the second div appends the first div and a textnode, and then the third div appends the second div with an offset. This results in a popup window.

I have added a fade in to the functions which work great in Firefox....
