    The culprit is OBDC driver. I too had a similiar issue where I tried connecting a DB2 databae with ODBC driver. Though I was able to establish the connectivity, any query using date fields comparison failed. - Search this form under "REMEDY" or "EPOCH"

    My project uses REMEDY Database (idbm db2). We were able to connect to the database using the driver provided to us. But if we try to execute a SQL with relational operators the .NET code fails, i was told that this culd be an issue with the driverr provided to us. Any help

    Team: One of project uses IBM REMEDY database. It has a field "Closure time". we were told that the time in this field is in "EPOCH" format. I have the following issues with this field.

    1) But if we execute a SQL query ((ASP. NET) and display the time in console, I am getting in mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss (PM/AM) format.? Why

    I was tyring to convert the date "8/17/2004 7:42:00 PM" to a unixtime format. i getting a value as below

    Ticks: 632283685200000 000

    What is the heck is this? What is tick?
    The expected value is "1092771720 "

    Please let me know why is the number is too large & i need to interperate this huge number
