Yes, i did try this and i also locked the field so that it may not be entered. It is just not working. Should i have made the default on the table record and the form control? If so, i made that attempt as well. For some reason, it is not enough.

Hello all. I am not really good at explaining my issues, however i hope you can help me.
I am trying to set a default value in a field i have named Resource Type on my Resource form. This form has been filtered so when a program selection is made, only the programs for the resource 'type' may be entered. totaling/summing of multiple sources/columns
