Access VBA Parsing CSV Field and Creating new rows
I have an access database with a table with two fields. They are 1. a GUID field and 2. a comma delimited set of values.
I want to take this table and for each row I want to do the following:
copy the GUID to a new rows field 1
parse out the first value of the csv field and copy to a new rows field 2
Continue to write new rows with the GUID and the next value in the csv field until all values... -
Solution:
The RowDataBound handler was not executing, so I added:
OnRowDataBound= "gv2_RowDataBou nd" to the gridview control.
I could address the dropdownlist (edititemtempla te) when in the RowDataBound event handler, I had a RowState of Edit...

Gridview - Writing grid changes from dataset to XML
I am having trouble updating a dataset representation of an xml file. The xml file is read into a dataset which is bound to a gridview control. The edit functionality was added to the code and handles the edit button fine. The data is changed on one of the fields in edit mode and captured in a variable when the update button is clicked. I attempt to assign the new value to the dataset's field in the edited datarow. I have seen examples of just... -

C#.Net GridView Edit Problem
I am trying to use the .net 2.0 gridview control where I programmaticall y set the datasource to an xml file read into a dataset. I am able to use the commandfield for the edit button and it puts me in edit mode. I have a template field with an EditItemTemplat e textbox.
