How to copy a row
Hi
i want to copy a row and insert that same values in different/same table..
for example
Empno LunchAllovance
1001 50
1002 50
here lunch allovance is 50 for all the employees. i want to copy that and paste as a new record for a new employee. The employee number should be changed.... can anyone help me in this please

in my table i have some duplicate records but one column named version will change. for example

ID Productname Version Created Date
1 xxxx 1.0 xxxxxx
2 xxxx 1.1 yyyyyy
3 aaaa 1.0 zzzzzz

from this table i want to select the max version records of all product .
