Hi,
Do anyone know how to add an print or scan button on a webpage-asp.
I have a webpage like a agreement page, which when an user clicks should agree to download something.
How can I add a button for print and a button for scan so when clicked shows options to print?

open PDF on new browser:ASP
Hello All,
I have a code to select a PDF from drop down box in classic asp. When i select it just opens PDF in the same window, I want it to open in a new browser.
How ever I tried using target="_blank" and it doesnt seem to be working. This is the code, can you tell me whats wrong here:

I have a search function code that displays all links with in my website when searched through that function.
Not I want todesign an iframe so it displays the results on my website rather than going to an empty page with google header....I want the search results go to a iframe with header andfooter of our site.

I am sorry, I think I didnt follow what you said completely. Is there any property I can set to enable this sorting ascending/descending order? I actually set the
enable pagesorting/paging callbacks to true in the grid view properties. But unable to see the changes on the browser. Do I have to do something on the code behind as well?

Answer is Yes, I just want to sort the data grid with just one column in the grid.
Dotnet version: 2.0.
Sorting the grid insense, say for ex: the column names are status,severity ,name.
I want to sort the data grid by the status. If I select the status as open /close the grid should display values accordingly.

I designed a c#.net data grid that connects to my local DB server to display the table data.

ASP-SQL question
Hello all, I really find hard time with the below issue:
1. I have a tableA in SQL that has user id and pwd, which is used to login to the secured zone on a website.
2. I want to validate the pwd that i enter on the website with the one in the tableA, but the main concern here is that the pwd stored in SQL is saved in MD5 format.
Are anyone aware of how to validate a pwd that we enter on form with the MD5 encoded... -

Prasad- It is something that your webserver will give access to, nothing to do with you asp code...if you ahve set proper code- you need to check with the webserver smtp settings- if they have been properly IP'd for outgoing emails from your asp page...

All,
I want to be able to replace a piece of code on all the asp files in the root directory with another piece of code.
I use Visual Studio as my Editor to work on asp files...

From what you have asked - we can convert the required excel sheet to MS Access or store into SQL Server 2000, and open a connection in your asp page, i.e on your website to have access to your DB.
MS- Access: Open MS Access.go to file- get external data- select the data sheet you have stored and convert to mdb file and hence stored as acess dbf ile

I have a couple of DVD's which could be stored in binary format in SQL server. i want these binary data to be read from asp page on my website, and convert them to url and be able to retrieve this url from the sql on to the asp page...

Hi All- Is it possible to move the data stored in MS Access to SQL 2000 server. On one of my webpages, whicha re developed in ASP- needs to be connected to the MS Access which is synchronised with SQL always..so that I can use sql data for some other purpose.
