Copying and pasting information from excel to access
I have an excel spreadsheet with 500 rows of information. I want to copy and paste that information into an access table that i'm using, column by column.... But access only lets me copy and paste cell by cell from excel to access. Of course i could do that or even use one of my forms i created but that only allows me to import the information record by record, but that would take for ever when i'd like to do the 500 records in a few big scoops (column... -
Thats great ! Of course i can use a query to make a form....thanks for responding so quickly... :)...Leave a comment:

merging forms in access
Hi Guys,
So far so good, your tips have helped me sort some very confusing issues... But now i have another.
Is there a way to merge 2 forms (with different tables) into 1 single form.
Or at worst, graft 1 form as a subform to another already existing form ?
Thanks for your time... -
Hi matey,
Thanks for getting back me :)
Yeah i know, this is really strange cause I've been playing with those property options AND the switchboard setup with "open form in edit mode" or "addin mode" and it just does not work.
I've managed to get it working once which now means that i'm stuck with the session i'm in... Every time i try and start a new database, i can't get that same...Leave a comment:

Hello mate,
Well actually, as far as i can see, no.. I know I can include a query in a form but have not done so.. But its strange because when i following online advice and "menu walk throughs" sometimes things work and sometime not when i'm clearly doing things the right way...
like allow data entry yes/no, allow edits yes/no, allow additions yes/no ....
in form > design view > properties

Blank form in Access
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Guys,
I've recently had a little go at access... I've learned a lot over the past few weeks but now i have a problem:
When I create a form it only dispays the data that is already imported without allowing me to change or modify any of the info should there be some changes like a new address for example...
I also don't...
