need to process xml files from remote server

i need to process xml files from linux path in ODI, while reverse engineering i'm getting error like

"java.sql.SQLEx ception: ODI-40844: Could not generate the DTD because the file could not be created. Verify that you have write permission in the directory".

But linux directory having all the permissions.

please do needful .

do exactly as the error message says, check that Java has the file permissions to create a file in that directory.
