Again with my delivery note schema university assignment which is a pan European solution I could do with some advice.
Were using XMLspy and its tutorials to learn how to create xml.
One tutorial was based on global complex types and the difference between address formats in the UK and USA were used.
Keeping the common content in global complex type address and then a unique UK and USA versions.
The difference being the UK postcode and USA use States and Zip Codes.
I then thought about applying this to UK and Non-UK European address's so far from reasearch it seems UK are the only ones who have a postcode as a seperate line where other European countries include it with other address elements.
Then for the Non-UK European addresses to Include a Timezone field (GMT, GMT+1, GMT+2 & GMT+3) as the delivery notes would be signed for on pda running UK GMT/BST time.
My thinking was the more elements included aslong as they were relevant the more marks I would get.
Is this overkill or a good Idea?
Is there any other differences I could use bettween UK and NON-UK European customers?
Thanks
Rob
