Generate DTD for XML file

I am using a trial version of XMLSpy 2007.

I have successfully generated DTD for some XML files.

However, after a period of time, now, I can not generate any DTD for other XML files and receive the message in the "validation " window: "Unable to load external DTD subset file via .....".

I wonder is it because of the trial version or error of my source file. Could you help me? I need it in urgent.

Sorry for your troubles! I have never heard of such an error. Do you maintain copies of your work?

It's likely restoring your machine to an earlier time will help, if the program ran properly in different copies. You might be lucky with the same file even, if it worked before you started having this problem.
