administrative / limited dual accounts & the internet

In Windows XP, in addition to an administrative account, I have a limited account for the internet (to help safeguard against malware).

Should I log off of my administrative account before accessing the net via my limited account?

And is there any way for a website to infect you other than actually going to that website?

First off, using a limited account on windows is not going to help much. If you want to use the limited account for we browsing then yes, you are going to need to log out of your administrative account and log into your limited account to realize the benefits.

There is no way for a website to infect your computer other than actually pointing your browser to that website.

The reason a limited account isn't going to help much, is that when those websites use internet explorer to attack your computer, they are going for administrator access. Even if you have a limited account they are using exploits that allow them to have elevated access, so if you account is limited or not does not matter.

I of course meant in addition to the many rigorous security precautions I'm already taking.
