    Hanging System

    hello guys,
    i have sane kind on problem, but different to some extent, my system get hanged frequently, i formatted complete hard drive, but the problem remained same, please assist me what to do

    Do you also get this error message or is it just the "hanging" that's the problem? If it's a different problem, we'll better split this to its own thread to keep everything in order. ^^

    If you have the same problem after a complete reinstall, then there might well be a hardware error. As far as I remember, such a behaviour could mean that (some of) the RAM is defect. If you have more available (or the RAM is in two blocks), try swapping it and see if the system still crashes.

        if you have been doing any over clocking, voltage changing etc... make sure your bios settings are all default. A processor crash will cause the system to hang (or so I found when I under volted my laptop).

        This just another thought too: check your memory. You could try changing it and seeing if the system becomes stable, or running a diagnostic tool
