    Windows updates

I have 4 PCs, in my network and wanted to have windows update to be updated on each.
But I do not want to download it 4 times as It is costing me for MBs I download.
Is any offline update method available for this?
Also pls confirm if setting up a proxy server will help me or not?

I build quite a few computers so use a WSUS server which I can then point pc's to to download the updates but I don't think that this would be cost effective or make that much difference for you .

is this just to download monthly updates or do you plan on reseting the computers regularly?

one other option is to stop using windows update and use autopatcher but Microsoft don't really like them so they were shut down for a brief period -

the other option would be to download each patch when it is released from windows update and just install on the computer but that will not save you much if it is just the monthly updates.

somebody else may have better suggestion as I have unlimited downloads so have not had to do this other than for convenience

Yes, regular updates, Not resetting the OS frequently.
I guess some proxy will help in this, as proxy server suppose to collect pages and files ones downloaded/browsed for its network. and then provide the same to other machines if they do request...(afte r checking the latest version of the page is same or diff than that one it has...)
But no experience with any proxy, can any one suggest ...?
