    Windows 2003 permissions problem

    Hi all.
Can you please help? I have just installed Server 2003 R2 at work and copy and pasted an access 2003 database into it from the old server. I have created a group named Sales added it to the database and gave them full permissions. Only one person can open it at a time. I can open it as the administrator when someone from the sales group has it open, but noone else in the sales group can. I think this is a server issue rather than an access issue. Thanks

When you right click on the folder that contains the database go to sharing and make sure the concurrent connections allowed is set to MAX

Also retake ownership of that file using the new admin account and set appropriate permissions. I had this problem as well, just need to play with permissions/sharing/ownership settings.

Backup the file before you start messing with it.
