    Forget Password wizard

I have 3000+ exchange users and most of the time they forget the password and we reset it for them. again problem is this happens on phone. so no guaranty that user it self has requested to change/reset the password.

Can any one know if it is possible on MS Exchange, to reset the users email password using some thing like "Forget Password wizard" as we do on yahoo/gmail/hotmail etc. where user has to answer some secret question and will reset the password after that, forcing them to change it after it has been reseted.

I have never seen such an option but I am sure it is out there, OWA is made for full customization. I would search the internet to see if someone has written the code for this.

I suspect that you would have to use website integration and synchronization with exchange server. I wish you luck with your 3000+ plus users!

P.S. If was confronted with such a problem I would do the simpler solution of setting a mailbox for each user on the ISP side or your Website Domain site and have outlook forward all the email to the external address.

So in otherwords the exchange e-mail password would never change while the external ones that the users would use could be changed by the users at any time and even if they forget, there is a wizard that would guide them to reset it. Use your ISP or Domain Provider to take care of this problem. All you have to do is create the email addresses and setup forwarding from Exchange.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for your attention to my problem
Your solution is no doubt excellent, but It dose not suit in my environment.
because from my organization only corporate email from our exchange server is allowed no gmail/yahoo etc is allowed.
There is some thing I found on net which needs to modify schema in AD to addon password reset functionality. to AD and So exchange users.
