local profile error

Hi, In my office one user getting error "Windows cannot load the locally stored profile....and then ..........Windo ws cannot find the local profile and is logging you with temporary profile and which will lost the stored data after logoff"

I renamed his profiel in documents and settings, and loggedin for a while its worked fine and then same prblem.

OS-XP prof
domain user account- profile problem
local admin profile working fine

can any one solve this problem plz...thanks a lot...

if you check the system log in event viewer it will show you why it failed to load the profile which is the first step to clearing the issue, if you find anything you are not sure about just post it here

also please provide more details on the login , is he logging into a local computer with a local account or is he logging onto a server somewhere.
