    .NET slow

    Hi,
    In my office one developer saying that in his account .net is working too slowly, I dint get what the exact problem is. Can anyone explain me regarding this step by step...PC configuration is XP, 760MB of RAM, P4 and dot net is D2K.

      Check his network connections. How fast are they?
      Check background processes. Does he run an antivir scanner, disk defragmentation or backup program there? The task manager should show 99% idle if he is doing nothing on his PC.
      Check if he has a virus (would explain the slow-down if the network and CPU is used up by the virus activity).
      Also, he should at least have more than 1 Gigabyte ram.
