How do you push shortcuts to Windows XP user desktops from Windows 2003 server
As an administrator I am looking for a way to push specific shortcuts to users within certain organizational units in active directory. My users are all using Windows XP and all my servers are Windows 2003 R2 servers.
I've not tried this but can you not create the shortcut on the client, copy it to the netlogon directory and use a script to distribute it accordingly.
