The same problem was occured to my friend's PC having about same problem (stucks randomly) and we do many things you are doing like installing/uninstalling devices and windows.
And after a year we found the problem was only with harddrive's cables.
So did this happen after you installed drivers or not? you said you have reinstalled windows right? Are your drivers up to date? First thing is to make sure your software is up to date with the appropriate drivers.
I don't know the chances of it being the processor, but you can do only what you can do then it comes down to replaceing core parts. If you isolate the problem down to mobo or processor the cheap route is getting the motherboard replaced (if your warranty allows it). If it still freezes get the processor replace.
Replacing parts is something you can do while just messing around your pc. Remove a part and use it like you normally would. If it freezes swap out for another part and keep the process going.
I have encountered this problem a few times andhere were the fixes.
1.) windows had something corrupted (for various reasons) did a windows repair, worked.
2.) memory stick was bad - replaced stick and it worked fine.
3.) mobo was bad.
I THINK it would be more likely that the motherboard is bad vs processor but i have no proof or anything to back that up.
before i installed the drivers it did the same thing after i downloaded and installed the proper drives for the mobo and video card and windows. But my dad did reinstall windows tonight i haven't had time to see if its worked but we'll see.
okay thank you i'll do all the processes above and see if it still freezes at the core parts and if it does i'll look into then warranty on the mobo and if its the processor i'll buy a new one...if i do buy a new one any suggestions?
ah okay i never thought of tht thank you.
okay i'll try those i do have a memory checker but i haven't got around to working on my PC but i'll look into all those things thank you.
i do respect you helping me :) thank you your a big help cause i've neevr had this problem before and my dads not much of a help cause every other computer is a mac oh well
