Uninstalling Problem of windows media player 10

    Hi all,
I couldn't delete the windows media player 10 from the Program File ( C: Drive ).
I uninstall this from the " Add or Remove Programs " option, but it does not delete from the Program File (C: Drive) properly. When i am trying to delete this program , it does not delete , it come back again after few second.

I want to delete this, to re-install this program. Because When I try to download a song the player is turn on & it is buffering the song to listining.

So please help me to solve this problem.

    Grettings,
    monirul.

have you tried installing version 11? usually that uninstalls all old versions and installs 11.

            Hi epots9,
No I didnot try, because Im using Winamp 5.12 media player and im comfortable with this. So i want to remove or delete permanently the windows media player 10 and this components, but i could not succeed and Im already mentiond it why .
So is it possible to delete the player.

            Greetings,
            monirul

              try this:

              in add/remove
check the box for show updates
uninstall 1 by1 each update for media player
              uninstall media player

i found that this has worked for some, try it out and tell us.

The windows media 10 is gone, but its component is already here, in Programs files in drive C:,
                Like this "custsat.dl l, migrate, mplayer2, mpvis.dll, npdrmv2.dll, npdsplay.dll, npwmsdrm.dll, setup_wm, wmpband.dll, wmplayer, wmpns.dll."

And i could not remove one update media player . When im trying, the following messege is shown "Windows Media player will be rolled back to the previous version that was on your computer. Do you want to continue ?"
But now in my computer has no window media player .

Short answer - not really. Windows Media Player is an integral part of Windows itself. It's used in Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, and with pretty much every other part of Windows that uses media. Even if you were to uninstall it all the way, you'd likely not be happy with the way the system ran after that, because many things would no longer function properly.
so you can uninstall the player but the components must stay cuz windows uses them.
