Hotmail: hung up after 3 consecutives failed attempts

as stupid as it seems i cannot reset my password(hotmai l) after i
failed guessing it correctly (3 times in row)

for my future attempt Microsoft responds me with this monotonous msg every time i attempt to reset it again using the secret question technique.
    msg:
This option is temporarily unavailable because incorrect information was entered too many times. Please try another reset option or try again later
    msg

is there a way out of it!

Let's see, you entered the password wrong 3 times, PLUS, you answered the secret question incorrectly as well. The only question that enters my mind is, is this your hotmail account or are you trying to gain access to someone else's? If that is the case, we won't help you hack someone's account.

If that's not the case, then you will probably have to contact Micro$oft for assistance at this point. Should you get hold of anyone, they will most likely also ask you to confirm the secret information of the account.

Personally, if it was at this level, and the account is truly yours, then I would go through the Micro$oft Support page to get help.

    Regards,

    Jeff

for god sake it my hotmail id...the only mistake i did tht i didn't mentioned that i tried to retrieve my account using the (secret question technique).

The three attempts thus made was in guessing my secret question not my password.

i tried msn help but all in vain

First, please know that I was not trying to accuse you of anything, just making an observation regarding the issue, that's all.

After some further inquiries, I agree with epots9. Wait a while and try again.

If it does not end up unlocking, submit a request through the support page link I supplied in my last post and be patient. They have millions of users.

          Regards,

          Jeff
