Is Vista Home Premium a true 64 bit OS?

Or is it more of a dual-mode 32/64-bit thing?

my understanding of vista is that if u buy the retail version (from bestbuy, etc.) it comes with 2 dvds a 32bit version and a 64bit one. as far as how well the 64bit functions is unknown to me cuz nothing works with any version of the 64bit vista(s).

I don't know if this is country-dependant, but I can only buy 32-bit and 64-bit seperate.

When installing please read what is says on your CD/DVD Media, it will say either 32bit or 64bit. Good luck,

          Cyber.

          P.S.
And yes if it says 64bit on the CD/DVD media then it truly is a 64bit operating system otherwise Microsoft would be sued for false advertising.
