    Kiosk Mode

I'm trying to setup a music server in my apartment. I want to run iTunes in a kisok mode, which iTunes doesn't really have. Right now, I just want this up and running, but at some point I'm going to also make it a web server.

My current method is to change the shell from explorer.exe to itunes.exe, which allows it to run efficiently and kind of act like a kiosk. Is this at least a reasonable approach? If so, is there any way to prevent a user from closing iTunes once it's running? Any thoughts would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would like to do the same thing but with a different approach, instead having itunes running i would like to have a FingerPrint reader running until i validate an user and then launch another application for a certain data input that once its completed it is going to be blocked again.

If you find how to do it please give me a hint and i would do the same.

    thanks,

    Luis

See, I couldn't run iTunes in a kiosk mode. I tried several tricks but it didn't work. Then by following https://itunessupport.org/blog/how-t...hout-updating/ I got the proper solution.
