    Command Prompt

    I have Windows Vista Ultimate. I want to use command prompt to view files on my computer. What and how do I do this.

    click the start button, in the search type "cmd" (no quotes) and the command prompt will open

      Right click on any folder while holding the shift key

      This will give a drop down and one of the options is the command prompt

      If you searched google it was right at the top

      I got it from this site

          Last Activity: Yesterday 10:35 AM
          just click on the member's name; it links to their profile.

            Thanks, I live in australia thought so its hard with the times and stuff because the dates and time are different

              Yeah; sorry. The server shows us each our own time info, not the OP's time. So, when I quoted my screen (PST) the would have been something like 12 hours off for you. For example, this post show me that is was posted at 10:59 AM.
