    Acessing cd writer over the network

    I want to acess cd writer of another pc from any other pc which is in network
    Iwant to write my content on cd by cdwriter of that pc from my pc
    how can I ??

    I'm guessing that you are on a Windows network, and have moved your post here.

      Using a simple file sharing network:
      You may share a particular set of files ON A CD using the Properties dialog with that CD in the drive. You won't be able to write to the CD even though it shows up as CDFS when you Map Network Drive on the client.

        If you are running a Remote Desktop Client, you should be able to write to the host pc's cd drive.

          to share it over a network, make sure both computers are on the same network and then setup the drive to be shared over the network, then on the second computer map a network drive, and there u go.

            Have you tried writing this way? I tried it: could read but not write.

                    Wouldn't you need someone over there to pop in a CD everytime you wanted to write something? Why not just have that guy write it for you lol.

                      I know nero 6 allows network burning, they call it neroNET. u'll have to search to find it.

                        Or do what I do: Use a KVMA switch (my development machine will probably never get a CD burner).
