      I am using XP sp2
I have downloaded and extracted pstools
      when typing

      Code:
psexec \\mypc start cmd -u mypc -p abc
      target computer : mypc
      user name : mypc
      password : abc

      it's giving access denied

I have changed the settings to classical mode
and also given password for both the computer

This could be one of the Home Edition vs Pro issues.
Here is a good Power Shell article which I hope helps.
