    Error Log File

    Any one Know about Error Log File?. In my s/m,in My Documents folder a notepad file was created that has named by error log file and it has a red color cross mark on that icon.Actually that file was created after the installing the softwares are AutoCAD and ProE. That file was created with two more files are out file and the another one that has not specified the file type.Is it any Virus Problem.
    Any one can Reply to me?

    You do have an anti-virus installed, right.
    Most viruses don't show themselves off like that, but error logs do.
    Notepad file? You must mean .txt file. From what I've been able to gather, there's no way for a virus to live in a .txt file. There's probably some useful error information in there regarding you latest install.
