Looking for a CPU Temperature Monitor for my Dell GX240 mobo

I've tried many of the downloadable options. Does this board even have a sensor on it?
I just got hmonitor; will try that next. I have tried SpeedFan and version 5 something of what looked like the most popular (can't pull the name off the top of my head), but there was no Dell GX support there.

    I'm running XP Pro SP2.

After much more searching, I found Everest. It's a very well-put-together piece of software (not free, though). I can say with 99% certainty that there is no CPU temperature sensor on the Dell GX240.

A side note: Many of my searches brought me back here. Nice work team TSDN!

If you look at the Everest's FAQ, it says that Dell computers uses a different sensor chip and it is not supported by Everest. I also have a GX240 and haven't found a Temperature Monitor. In the Dell official site, there is a "Dell Diagnostic software" or something like that (you can find it in support>drivers and downloads), but I didn't try it (it needs floppy drives to install and I had none :P), so if you try it, or if you find a monitor that works for the GX240, please let me know.

Yeah. I stayed away from the diag download as well. It runs from a boot disk and I want a GUI application. I'll keep this thread up-to-date, though I don't hold out much hope of finding it.

        Thanks for the input.

I'm guessing you already tried MotherBoard Monitor (which is on version 5. something :P)

Thanks, Kijoki. I really like what I've been reading in your posts.

I think that MoBo Monitor was one of the first ones that I tried. Perhaps I'll give it another shot, though.
