XP-VISTA network problem

I am dual-booting XP and Vista on seperate drives with no problem. However, when I set up networking in Vista, networking would not work when I booted back into XP. Any ideas how the Vista installation changed XP settings?

This is probably more of a TCP/IP issue more than an issue of vista changing the settings for your network in your XP install.

I would start by doing an "ipconfig /all" from a command prompt in your windows XP install and make sure that your addressing looks good.
