    windows xp installation

    Hi can some one please help me install windows XP professional on my computer. At the end of the installation I get D:/386 error does anyone know what that means?

      Check your CD for scratches or cracks or anything dirty preventing it from being read.

      Check you ram, try a different module.

      Check your hard drive, try a different hard drive.

      Post back with specifications of your hardware setup and installation errors.

        Please Check your CD for scratches or cracks.

        Or
        Use A Diffreant Bootable CD of another serial number .

        preffered to a original XP bootable disk.

          Hope the Cd Media is corrupted, try with another CD.
