My PC all of sudden gave me the following error:
mining/system32/ntkrnlmp.exe error 14
I can't access anything, it just won't reboot. Please help.

Don't know about error code 14; here are instructions from M$ regarding error code 7.

Oh it will reboot trust me, just hold that power button for about 10 secs or pool the cord.

Also when did this happen? What changed?

Provide some specs about the system (such as hardware and OS info)

not minint/system32/ntkrnlmp.exe

If you can't get into windows you will need to reinstall windows or fix your startup records using manual or automatic recovery.

Hello im trying to fix my computer but every time i try to use the recovery cd or just regular boot it come out with an error and i cant even go to windows and the file error is \minint\system3 2\ntkrnlmp.exe error code is 51252 can someone plz help me thx.

I have the same problem. i connected my hard drive to another computer with windows and ran a SCANDISK. My problem was solved.

Great tip Stan! Thanks. I wouldn't have though to try that. Maybe a lot of people are not so lucky as we are having more than one computer and being able to open them up and fool around inside. Still, it's very useful info to have.

I'm having pretty much the same problem with an exception of another error...
It started some time ago...I wanted to turn my computer on and it just wouldn't enter Windows so I've thought about formating it but since that would mean loosing everything on C I've given my disk to a friend who scanned it (like one of your replies suggested) over in his computer and he said there's a slight problem with my disk (it works in 1 of 10 attempts to run it) and I should buy a new one soon but for the time being it should work...I was just suppose to install windows again...the problem is I can't get as far as starting the windows install -.-
I run my computer, boot from the disk and then there's an error... it responds with "error 14" (I don't know the exact file path, it's about this ntkrnlmp.exe) OR with this: "unexected error (1073705344) occured at line 1773 in d:\xpsprtm\base \boot\setup\arc disp.c".
then it says PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE but whatever I press it reboots and starts the same process all over again. I can't access neither windows nor start formating or installing windows -.-

My last resort is buying a new disk and moving everything I have on this one to the new one, but that would mean waiting another 2-3 months since I'm broke T-T plus molesting a friend or two of mine..

Urgent help, please help!
I don't know what to do ,It's the first time I am reinstalling Windows and having such a troubles with my computer.
Yesterday my computer switched off, just like that. Blue screen of death came on and sayd that : system32/drivers/pci.sys is missing or corrupt.
I couldn't turn the computer on for 5-6h. The only one thig that loaded is the first page where says Start Windows normally , safe mode., etc.
Eventually the computer when on again and stayed like that for maximum 2-3 minutes. It did that several times and then went dead.
I got here COPY of Windows XP sp2 and before to load it I cnaged the BIOS so to read firstCDROM.
The computer loaded the CD and a few sec. and after that sayd
Windows can not install the following components NTKNLMP.EXE error code is 14.
I don't understand of Computer, Ired so much and it's so comlicated, please.
So many errors. I don't know what to do.I need my computer for work tomorrow and no way to fix it.
Please Please help
