I'd like to hear from the OP to see what the story is about this. Right now all I can do is guess.

Did you get the problem fixed? "Redson" supplied you with a link in his 2nd post on here.. Question for you now is did you try that? Did it help?

I did some research on a very similar problem in IIS forum:
IIS 6 - Slow Response Time

May be of use if hotfix is not appropriate solution. Of course, it could be that the other poster has problem described in hotfix so I will keep that in mind :).

OP - just a thought if you are concerned about the client, make sure you do a full backup before applying the fix, that way you can always go back. Are you using a genuine version of Windows server 2003?

If so, which version? Standard? Web? Terminal? Enterprise? Small Business?

            Regards,

Yep. Ya gotta watch those noobs jumping in on old, open threads.
That's one reason I'm all for closing threads as they get answered.

                        I agree to a point...

if there is enough OF the answer.... then yeah closing it would be okay... however.. Some questions may have more then one answer... you know? Some people might look at it in other ways??

=) thats my little debait over the NOT closing of threads hahah

And, ya know what?.. You've convinced me. Very cogent argument. Thanks.
