    Windows Boots Slow

    Hi This Is Srepad
I Am Having A Problem With The Xp
I Have Reinstalled The Xp-pro O.s (earlier Also It Was Xp-pro)

Now Boot-process Will Take Properly But It Shows An Error Message That "check Your Windows Domain Name And Password Are Correct" And After-words It Will Show "windows Is Starting Up" And Hangs-up 10 To 20 Minutes .after 10 To 20 Minutes It Will Show Login Screen.
But If Go On Pressing Escape After Booting Process It Will Show The Login Screen Immideatly.,

Sounds like you some how got it set on a Network. What I mean is there is an option in USERS where you can make the computer part of a "DOMIAN" and then give it a USER NAME / PW to login, Sounds as if this OPTION was used but now the Computer can't find it. To take a Look see at this issue go to

Start > (RIGHT CLICK) My Computer > Properties > (Using the Tab’s on top) Computer Name

Once click on "Change" Be sure you do not have domain selected. Or if you are using a domain be sure it is correct normally windows won’t allow you to set that unless it is correct. However if you moved the PC from a Domain to a new location and it can not find it this may be your issue.

So you should set it on "Workgroup" Rather then "Domain"

Hope this get your issue fixed.
