Tell us about your system. Processor make and speed, how much memory, what kind and how large is the disk, what operating system, etc. Large memory and a fast disk can make a lot of difference. Is this a new problem; has traffic volume increased lately? Tell us all the things that you can think of.

                Few thoughts...

                - Max the box out with RAM
                - make sure the HDD's are defragged
                - run spyware\adware checks on it
                - run virus scan on it
                - if possible run a chdksk /f on the drives
                - make sure all MS patches are current
                - clear out .tmp, .dmp, etc files

And reboot weekly. We do that with our webservers (20 of them) and they run just peachy.
