DVD/Cd burner doesn't work correctly after trying to copy an DVD

I have a similar problem with my dvd burner. I just got it 2 days ago.I tried copying a copy protected dvd. I was able to copy it with DVDFab Platinum, but now my dvd burner can't read normal dvd's, but it can read copy protected dvd's. What should I do?

from what i read try this:

create the image and save it to your harddrive
use nero burning rom to burn the image with UDF mode
